in the past i've always held the belief that once a recording artist releases a xmas album their "career" has come to a halt or otherwise some sort of turning point... that being said should the "world come to an end" on 12.21.2012 this being the final TBI release will be somewhat apropos
i know "jesus' blood" isn't really a traditional xmas song but i love it (thx gavin bryars) so this seemed like an appropriate time to record a cover version
i hate "baby it's cold outside," most xmas songs are awful but it is the absolute worst
december is the cruelest month, ts eliot had his shit backwards
released December 18, 2012
recorded within a few weeks of late november/early december 2012 at coattrack HQ in portland, or.
all instruments/production/mixing/mastering by d. schultz
vocals by the wonderfully talented Kelsey Koch on "xmas (baby pls come home)" and "did I make you cry on xmas day?" to whom i am greatly indebted b/c she totally obviously killed on those tracks
big thank yous for the support from: Erin, Mathew, Maddie & Cheyanne (for helping with choosing the album name via Twitter), Jesse, RJ, Steve-o, Katie, Sheri, Clay.
this is a joint coattrack/APNEICVOID release
